Our Director / Conductor

The Valley Youth Orchestra is pleased to have Ms. Debra TenNapel as our Director/Conductor. Ms. TenNapel has served admirably in this position since July of 2011.

If you have questions about the rehearsal schedule or rehearsal times please contact the orchestra manager, Dan Lamar. If you cannot attend a rehearsal, please contact Mr. Lamar AND contact our Conductor Ms. TenNapel as soon as you know of a problem or conflict. 

If you participate in both the Concertino and Philharmonic Orchestras, please bring your own snack for the Break between the Saturday rehearsal times.

VYO is run by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. All parents and other supportive adults are encouraged to participate and attend our open board meetings. Please feel free to contact any of the board members listed below by clicking on their name if you have any questions or if you would be interested in serving on the Board.

The next VYO board meeting will be Thursday, Feb 8, 2018 (instead of Saturdays) from 5:45 - 6:50 pm,in the Band room of Delta Middle School in the back of the old Delta High School where Saturday rehearsals are held.

All parents are encouraged to attend since a large portion of the meeting will be focused on the March 17th Dinner Concert/Silent Auction and end of Season activity (possibly early in May). The above board meeting date will be updated monthly since most (but not all) meetings are on the first Thursday rehearsal date of each month.
