FREE CONCERTS Featuring the Valley Symphony Orchestra and Chorus
During the 2017 free Pops in the Park concerts, The Valley Symphony Association will be introducing our new Chorus Director, Allyson Connally. Allyson will be leading members of the Valley Symphony Chorus in a number of popular pieces.
The Orchestra will be featuring Allyson’s wonderful voice on a Gershwin tune or two. In addition, the Orchestra will feature music from Broadway such as highlights from ”Hello Dolly” and music from Lerner and Lowe’s “My Fair Lady,” Camelot,” and “Gigi.” Tap your toes to Sousa’s “Manhattan Beach March.” Movie music will be represented by a medley of songs from “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
In Cedaredge, enjoy our traditional ice cream social. All funds raised will be used to purchase music for the Orchestra and chorus. At Cobble Creek in Montrose bring a chair or blanket. Food and drink will be available for purchase from Cobble Creek Club House.
